Bethel Presbyterian Church announced it will hold Drive-Through Prayer at the church located at 19920 Bethel Church Road on May 26 and 28, June 2 and 4. Two sessions each day are scheduled: 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
“Drive-through prayer offers a unique opportunity for people in our community to connect with God in an intentional way during this crisis,” said Rev. Dr. Tom LaBonte, Assistant Pastor at Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Church pastors and leadership will available to pray with anyone who seeks comfort through one-on-one prayer. A prayer box is available 24/7 to accept prayer requests near the cross in front of the church.
“We as a church are called to bear each other’s burdens, and praying with our neighbors is a powerful way we can help each other and show Jesus’ love in challenging times” said Rev. LaBonte. “In scripture and psalm we are told to bring everything to God in prayer. We are honored to accept any prayer requests, including prayers of healing, praise, intercession and thanksgiving. We will wear masks and practice social distancing. ”
“Each prayer will be commemorated with a ribbon being placed on the cross in front of the church.”
